This Apple Ginger Kombucha Cocktail is a simple but delicious drink that is perfect for any party!
Ever since our family’s summer vacation in Lake Tahoe last year, Jack and I have been hooked on drinking kombucha. Kombucha is a naturally sparkling fermented tea, and it is often touted for its health benefits such as promoting healthy digestion, stimulating the body’s immune system, and more.
During our trip we sampled a variety of fun and delicious kombucha flavors from Folk Brewing Co. – another venture of the very talented Chef Doug Baehr whom we had the huge pleasure of meeting last summer. (If you are lucky enough to live in the Lake Tahoe area, you can find Folk Brewing’s kombucha on tap locally at Doug’s restaurant as well as at other locations.)
Back home in New England, we buy bottled kombucha at our local supermarket (typically refrigerated near the fresh juice in the produce section). My favorite is GT’S Organic Gingerade Kombucha – and it makes a surprisingly delicious Apple Ginger Kombucha Cocktail!
The recipe for this fizzy, flavorful cocktail is quite easy: one part apple liquor to two or three parts ginger kombucha – depending how strong you like your cocktail. 😉
We served this Apple Ginger Kombucha Cocktail at our last party with a few thin slices of apple on top – but that garnish is optional. Our guests loved this drink – and I think you’ll enjoy it too!
