Scrapple Cornbread Stuffing - This delicious stuffing has great flavor thanks to scrapple, cornbread, cranberries, walnuts and fresh rosemary and sage!

Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away – so it’s time to get serious about your Thanksgiving dinner menu!

Our family is fairly traditional when it comes to our own Thanksgiving menu – turkey (of course), stuffing, potatoes and gravy. But in recent years we’ve made some updates to the old standbys – like a delicious pumpkin cheesecake instead of pumpkin pie, and this sweet potato recipe!

And THIS year – we’re planning to change things up just a bit more with a new, delicious stuffing recipe – our Jones Scrapple Cornbread Stuffing made with Jones Dairy Farm Scrapple!

Stuffing & More

This scrapple cornbread stuffing is just one of many delicious stuffing recipes you can find on StuffingandMore.com – a great website from Jones Dairy Farm where they’ve assembled more than 25 unique stuffing recipes and cooking tips, plus a fun Stuffing vs. Dressing Poll!  With so many stuffing recipes to choose from, you’re sure to find one that is perfect for your family’s Thanksgiving dinner!

I will tell you – neither Jack nor I had cooked with scrapple before we developed this Jones Scrapple Cornbread Stuffing! But we’ve often heard that scrapple is quite delicious – in fact it’s often referred to as “The Pennsylvania Delicacy” – and we love trying new foods! Scrapple adds great savory flavors to our stuffing along with super moist and delicious cornbread, apples, walnuts and dried cranberries, plus some fresh rosemary and sage.

  1. I’ve never had Scrapple either, but can’t wait to try it!

  2. Ah, scrapple. A word I haven’t heard since I lived in Philadelphia many years ago. It’s basically a tradition, a morning staple, if you live in PA. But I love that you turned it into stuffing! So new and fun!

  3. What a delicious stuffing. Rather than mix things up we tend to just add a new dish. We are up to 3 different types of stuffing. This would be a great one to add this year.

  4. I’ve never had scrapple, but that stuffing sure looks good. We’re pretty traditional when it comes to our menu as well

  5. I’ve heard of scrapple but I’ve never cooked with it either. I would love to try it, especially in this stuffing which looks amazing!
