Baked Feta Pasta takes just minutes to prepare. Cherry tomatoes, olive oil, spices and feta are baked in the oven, then stirred together with cooked pasta for an easy, flavorful meal.

We’ve jumped on the bandwagon to share this very popular Baked Feta Pasta recipe today!
Baked Feta Pasta recently became a viral sensation over on TikTok, but all of the credit for this super popular recipe should go to this food blogger. Now, it seems like everyone is trying – and sharing – the recipe. (Including us!)
This recipe checks all of the boxes: It’s quick, easy, made with just a few ingredients, and it’s delicious! I can totally see why this recipe is so popular.
How do you make Baked Feta Pasta?
In a baking dish, add two pints of cherry or grape tomatoes and drizzle with oil. Sprinkle on some seasonings (we used dry oregano and basil, plus salt and pepper) and toss to coat.
Next, nestle a block of feta cheese into the center of the baking dish, then turn to coat both sides of the cheese with oil and seasonings.
Bake in a hot oven for half an hour, then raise the oven temperature and bake for ten minutes more.
While the feta cheese bakes, cook some pasta. Drain the pasta – but reserve one or two cups of the pasta water.
Once the tomatoes and feta are done roasting, add finely minced garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes to the baking dish. Then stir it all together – breaking up the tomatoes. The roasted feta will be soft and melted, and combined with the juices of the roasted tomatoes and other seasonings – it creates a creamy and delicious sauce!
Add the pasta to the sauce in the baking dish and stir to combine – adding fresh basil as a garnish. (You can finely chop the fresh basil, or chiffonade into strips as we did.)
Serve immediately for an easy and delicious pasta dinner.
What can I serve with Baked Feta Pasta?
This is a fairly rich and creamy dish – so I’d recommend keeping the sides simple. A salad of fresh greens with a simple vinaigrette is a good choice. You could also serve some garlic bread on the side to soak up the delicious sauce leftover on your plate.

Baked Feta Pasta
Ingredients
2 pints cherry or grape tomatoes
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
1/2 teaspoon dry basil
8-ounce block feta cheese
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
9-ounce dry pasta of choice, we used farfalle
2 large cloves fresh garlic, minced fine
Pinch red pepper flakes
Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a 9X13 dish, add tomatoes, oil, dry oregano and dry basil and toss to coat.
Nestle the feta block in the center and turn to coat.
Place in the oven for 30 minutes.
While the tomatoes and cheese are roasting, place a large pot of salted water on to boil.
Five minutes prior to the end of the 30-minute cooking time, add the pasta to the water and cook according to the package directions.
After the tomatoes and cheese have been in the oven for 30 minutes, raise temperature to 450 degrees F. and cook for 10 minutes more.
Remove from the oven and add in the raw minced garlic and the red pepper flakes and stir the mixture, breaking up the tomatoes as you mix.
Once the pasta is cooked (which should be just as you remove the tomato cheese mixture from the oven), use a spider to remove the pasta and add to the tomato cheese mixture, then stir to combine. Add as much pasta water as needed to make a creamy sauce. (I added ¼ cup at first but added another cup of the pasta water after dinner to loosen up the leftovers).
Serve torn fresh basil over each portion.
