These delicious Chocolate Chip Pecan Graham Cracker Pralines are one of my “back pocket” recipes – for those days when I need a quick and easy dessert, but I don’t have a lot of time to prepare.
It’s made entirely of ingredients that we always keep on hand in the pantry and refrigerator – so we can bake up a tray at a moment’s notice.
To make these graham cracker pralines, you’ll simply lay out a tray of graham crackers and top them with chocolate chips and chopped pecans. Then boil butter and sugar together and pour the mixture evenly over the top. Bake for ten minutes and cool completely – then break them into bite-sized pieces.
These Chocolate Chip Pecan Graham Cracker Pralines are intensely sweet but SO good! They are a great gift idea for the holidays, but delicious any time of the year.

- Graham Crackers –You’ll need about half of a 14.4 ounce box of honey graham crackers
- Pecans
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Granulated Sugar
- Salted Butter – Or use unsalted butter and add a pinch of salt. When salt is added to a sweet recipe, it helps balance the flavors.

Cooking Tips & Tricks
- When topping the graham crackers with pecans and chocolate chips, be sure to get as close to the edges of the pan as possible.

Ingredients
13 honey graham crackers (about half a 14.4 ounce box)
3/4 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter
Instructions
- Preheat over to 350 degrees F.
- Line a rimmed half-sheet pan (18×13-inch) with aluminum foil. Lay graham crackers out on the foil in a single layer, breaking crackers in half (if needed) to fit in the pan.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans and chocolate chips evenly over the graham crackers.
- In a small saucepan, melt bring butter and sugar together stirring to combine. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Stirring constantly, allow the mixture to boil for two minutes.
- Carefully pour boiled butter and sugar mixture over the graham crackers, covering them as much as possible with the mixture.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove sheet pan from oven and cool completely – about 1 to 2 hours.
- Break graham crackers into portions or bite-sized pieces.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week (if they last that long)
