LG Studio and “My Kitchen Needs Nate” Contest - A Family Feast
Ten years ago, my husband Jack and I moved into our home. It was a newly-built house, and back then, we were able to work with our builder to select the kitchen cabinets, flooring, and countertops to match our style and our budget! But a limited budget back then drove many of our design choices – we went with builder-grade flooring, countertops, lighting and appliances (with the plan to change those out someday), and we invested in upgraded maple cabinets that are (thankfully) still in great condition! Fast forward to now – and as food bloggers who are constantly working in the kitchen – Jack and I are ready for some kitchen updates!
LG Studio and “My Kitchen Needs Nate” Contest - A Family FeastI’d like to add a more modern pop of color with a new, glass tile back splash in colors that match the color palette in the rest of our house. We also want to put in granite counter tops (I want something lighter in color, while Jack prefers a darker counter top – so some compromising will need to happen!), and we both want a deeper farmer’s sink (we wash a LOT of dishes with all of the cooking we do!).

And we’d love to add some pendant lights over the center island in our kitchen, plus some fun wall art.

And of course – our dream kitchen would have a full suite of beautiful and functional LG Studio appliances! (We especially love the double wall oven!

I love your kitchen remodeling ideas. My favorite is the glass tile backsplash. I’m a big believer in adding a pop of color to any room. The backsplash would be a great way to do that.

This is a great opportunity for getting a new kitchen from LG studio. The kitchen seems to be quite expensive which looks like a dream kitchen.

A couple things I’ve learned from experience. Granite is beautiful and expensive. The variegated colors, while extremely beautiful, make it very hard to see any kind of smutches or small spills. You end up wiping all the counters all the time, just to be safe. If you have a reasonable amount of counter space, no big deal, but if you get a little carried away (who? Me?), you’ll be spending a lot of time wiping down counters. Fortunately, only two of ours, the island and either side of the sink get used daily.
